Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

As mentioned in my oatmeal raisin cookies post, they are my favorite kind of cookie. However, that doesn’t mean I don’t love a good chocolate fix! This recipe combines the best of both worlds – chewy oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips. It makes a big batch of three dozen, enough to give some away (a certain crowd pleaser) and keep a few for yourself. Also, they freeze great, so you can enjoy straight-out-the-oven oven freshness whenever you crave a cookie!

Stir in rolled oats and chocolate chips. Scoop dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Flatten dough using a spatula.
