Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut butter cookies and chocolate chip cookies merge in this decadent recipe.  With a distinct nutty flavor in the base and gooey chocolate goodness all over, these cookies are any PB chocolate lovers dream.

Biting in brings back memories to baking with my mom and sister when I was younger.  On occasion, we would make classic peanut butter cookies – the ones that have a little tic-tac-toe pattern in the middle.  They always got gobbled up fast in our kitchen!  My favorite part (besides eating them) was always making the criss-cross with a fork – it made me feel like a very fancy baker as a little girl!

As good as those cookies were, I’m a true believer that chocolate makes everything better… and these cookies have it!  Reese’s peanut butter cups are one of my favorite candies, and they serve as an inspiration for this easy recipe.  All in all, it’s a delightful combination and my mouth is watering just thinking about them!
