This was my Nana’s recipe, and these blueberry squares have been a longtime family favorite. They make for the perfect treat anytime… breakfast, snack, dessert, you name it! Bake at your own risk though… they’re addicting!

2 cups flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sugar, plus extra for blueberries
1 tsp baking powder
½ cup butter
1 large egg
2 ½ cups blueberries, sugared
Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2 Whisk together flour and cinnamon.
3 Mix in sugar and baking powder.
4 Add butter and stir until crumbly.
5 Add egg and work in. If the batter seems too dry/not crumbly enough, add an extra egg white.
6 Pour half of the batter into a 9" x 13" greased pan, then pour half of the blueberries on top. Repeat with remaining mixture and blueberries.
7 Bake for 35 minutes, cool, slice, and refrigerate. Serve cold.
