Champion Snack Mix

Ingredients
1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
½ tsp olive oil
¼ tsp chile powder
½ tsp cinnamon
1 cup pecans or walnuts
½ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup dried cherries
½ cup dried cranberries
½ cup dark chocolate chips or chunks

Directions
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2Dry off chickpeas with a kitchen towel to remove any excess moisture. You may take off the skins if desired.
3Drizzle olive oil over chickpeas and add spices. Toss to coat.
4Spread chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5Bake for 20 minutes, shaking the pan after 10 minutes.
6After 20 minutes, shift the chickpeas around again. Spread nuts on baking sheet, and toast the chickpeas and nuts together for 8-10 minutes.
7Allow to cool completely. Then, add pumpkin seeds, dried cherries, dried cranberries, and chocolate. Mix and serve over popcorn if desired!
