Raisin Challah

Raisin Challah

Raisin challah is a braided Jewish bread made with eggs and baked to golden perfection.  It is typically enjoyed during the Jewish high holidays, and can be found at most grocery stores during those times.  However, many places only carry normal challah the rest of the year, and it simply lacks the wow-factor the raisins add.

Luckily, you can enjoy challah WITH raisins whenever you want by making it at home!  Savoring a warm bite of fresh out of the oven bread is 100% worth the wait, as the rising time is vital to the cloud-like texture.  Soft and sweet, this raisin challah is simply amazing!  Enjoy it on its own or use it for some delightful challah French toast… mm mmmm my mouth is watering!
