Raisin Challah

Ingredients
½ cup warm water
1 packet rapid rising yeast
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp vegetable oil
3 large eggs
3 tbsp honey
1 tsp salt
2 ¾ cups flour
¾ cup raisins
Directions
1Dissolve brown sugar and yeast in warm water until foamy (10 minutes).
2Add honey, oil, salt, and 2 eggs. Whisk until well combined.
3Using a kneading attachment, gradually add flour to mixture to form a dough ball.
4Knead in raisins with hands, and transfer to a greased bowl. Cover and let rise until doubled (1 hour).
5Divide dough into 3 long "snake" like rolls. Braid dough and tuck ends under. Cover with a towel and let rise another 45-60 minutes.
6Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Create egg-wash by combining 1 egg with 2 tbsp cold water. Brush egg-wash onto dough, and bake 25 minutes (or until golden).
7Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack for 15 before slicing, enjoy!
