Hawaiian Roll French Toast

Say “aloha” to a new breakfast favorite!  This quick and easy recipe is delightful start to any morning.  Hawaiian rolls make for a soft and sweet twist on traditional French toast.  Plus, they are mini and cute, perfect for sharing a large batch.  Tip: serve with grilled pineapple, yum!

Ingredients

Ingredients
 2 Hawaiian rolls
 1 egg
 ½ tsp vanilla extract
 ¼ tsp cinnamon plus more to taste
 salt

Directions

Slice Hawaiian rolls in half (horizontally) using a bread knife.

Beat egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt together in a bowl.

Dip bread in egg mixture, coating both sides.

Heat butter on a skillet and cook rolls on both sides until golden brown. Use a spatula to slightly flatten rolls.

Sprinkle extra cinnamon on rolls, if desired

Top with berries and coconut, enjoy!
